Set in the heart of Boscastle in North Cornwall this freehold public house is the ideal setting.
It has two bars, Family room outside seating serving excellent homemade food in the bar and restaurant.
Tables can be reserved for food in the bar or the restaurant but it is best to book early as our excellent food is well sought after.
We serve 'real ales' supplied by local Cornish breweries situated in and around North Cornwall including Tribute from St Austell Brewery, Doom Bar from Sharps Brewery at Rock and Harbour Special from Tintagel Brewery just up the road and also various guest Ales.
We also hold Cornish Rattler our local cider from Healey's Cyder Farm at Newquay.
Our extensive range of sprits and whiskeys and wine can be served by the bottle or our excellent house wine by the glass and of course our lagers, beers and ciders on draught.
The quality homemade food served between 11.30am-2.30pm and 6.00pm-9.30pm offers excellent quality homemade food using local produce including meats from our village and local farmers and fish caught locally in our seas.
Our food is prepared and cooked from fresh and vegetarians are catered for with homemade dishes. We are able to prepare meals for all dietary needs but a quick phone call our chef will create. Our bars have 50 covers so we can cater for large parties or family room which can also double up as a function room seats 40. We have various outside seating easily another 40+ and a undercover area with a log burner for the winter evenings.
The bar boasts two 'real fires' so we are well worth a visit out of season.
You could even stay in our self catering apartment situated next to the Cobweb (handy!!!)
This character pub serves to suit every need we are dog friendly - they are allowed in the bars on leads so after a long walk we are the ideal place to re-fuel.
Our restaurant which seats 35 people is used also for functions including christmas parties, birthday parties or any other reason to have a party.
We also are a well known venue and hold various events to raise money for our local charities or named charities.
We can cater for weddings and various times in the past have put a marquees up in front of the building which could be used for that special occasion.
We have also have entertainment with live music on Saturday nights see entertainment section.
Bookings are now being taken whether for a function, carvery, Restaurant meal or just a table in the bar.
Situated opposite the large car park at the bottom of the village (which is a free car park after
6.00pm!!!) ample parking for all your guests book now to avoid disappointment.
